Emerging Trends in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics

"Emerging Trends in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics" Conference was held in Krakow on June 18-22, 2018 organized by the Chair of Optimizationa and Control at the Jagiellonian University. The conference was a continuation of the conference ETAMM organized in Perpignan in 2016. The main aim of the conference was to identify new trends in the domains of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, and their Applications in Physics, Engineering Sciences, Biology and Economy. The conference brought together mathematicians, interdisciplinary scientists and engineers from all over the world. Find below the opinion of one of participants.

Dear Friends

I would like to congratulate you on the organization of the ETAMM2018 conference. It was one of the best scientific conferences I participated in. The range of the topics was wide but not overwhelming, and the range of the interests of the scientists that attended and the countries and research groups they came from was wide and  important for international cooperation and collaboration. The quality of the presentations I have attended was very good to excellent and I had the pleasure of learning from many of these presentations. I found many of the discussions very interesting and beneficial.  And, importantly, I really enjoyed the friendly and positive atmosphere of the conference and the fact that everyone was very accessible and willing to engage. I am aware of the tremendous amount of effort and work that went into the organization of the conference and the efforts that took place at the background during the conference that you and your team performed, which led to the very successful conference.

I would like to congratulate you and your team again.
