Lectures were interdisciplinary, the subject was on the border of mathematics, computer science and mechanics. The course was addressed to Master students, PhD students, young doctors and faculty members.

  • The 6th German Polish Conference on Optimization – Methods and Applications with special emphasis on Smooth and Nonsmooth Optimization, Variational Problems, Variational Inequalities, and Optimal Control (GPCO6) will be held at the Leucorea in Wittenberg from February 28 to March 4, 2014. The Leucorea is one of the oldest universities in Germany, it was founded in 1502. Matin Luther and Philipp Melanchthon worked here. The University of Halle was founded in 1691 and both universities merged in 1817 to the now Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg.

  • W dniu 1 lutego 2014r., w sobote o godz. 18 na Kazimierzu odbylo sie "Farewell Party" z powodu likwidacji 38-letniego Instytutu Informatyki Uniwersytetu Jagiellonskiego, najstarszego instytutu informatyki w Krakowie. W okresie mrocznego czasu regresji, nasze party poswiecone bylo wspomnieniom o wspanialych momentach naszego zycia. Dziekujemy wszystkim, ktorzy zaszczycili nas swoja obecnościa i dzieki którym impreza nalezala do udanych.
